Lighting design is undertaken following the relevant CIBSE lighting design guides and to achieve specific requirements of the project.
Dialux or Relux lighting design software are used to provide details of lighting levels, uniformity, glare etc.
Emergency lighting is designed following CIBSE guidelines and also to comply with the relevant statutory requirements (BS5266, BS-EN1838 etc).
Fire alarm design is undertaken to comply with the requirements of the local fire officer, building control & in compliance with the relevant standards (BS9999, BS5839 etc).
Electrical distribution, cabling sizing, selection of protective devices, provision of load schedules etc is undertaken using the latest version of Amtech ProDesign software.
Detailed reports are provided showing compliance with BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations with regards to voltage drop, current carrying capacity, protective device tripping times, installation methods etc.
